Bern, University, Baltzerstrasse 2 – 4 – Complete renovation and refurbishment, feasibility study
Development of a comprehensive feasibility study for the complete renovation and conceptual reorientation of the university buildings Baltzerstrasse 2 and 4 (construction years 1978 and 1981) as well as the determination of necessary maintenance measures for the extended and more recent building section Baltzerstrasse 6 (construction year 2001). As part of this reorientation, modularly organized laboratories are to be created primarily, which can be flexibly used by different research groups. Additionally, facilities for science education and workshops are planned. On the ground floor, a reorganization of the existing delivery access is also required so that other buildings on the site can be served in the future. This will result in modifications to the external space of the entire Baltzerstrasse.
