Bern, University, Baltzerstrasse 2 – 4 – Complete Renovation and Conversion, Feasibility Study
Development of a comprehensive feasibility study for the complete renovation and conceptual reorientation of the university buildings Baltzerstrasse 2 and 4 (construction years 1978 and 1981) as well as the determination of necessary maintenance measures for the extended and more recent building section Baltzerstrasse 6 (construction year 2001). As part of this reorientation, the primary objective is to create modularly organized laboratories that can be flexibly utilized by different research groups. In addition, spaces for science education as well as workshops are planned. On the ground floor, a reorganization of the existing delivery area is also necessary to enable other buildings on the site to be accessed in the future. This will result in adaptations to the exterior space of the entire Baltzerstrasse.
