Technical Building Management (TBM) – Rietberg Museum Zurich
The Rietberg Museum in Zurich (MRZ) is a service department of the Office of the Mayor of the City of Zurich and ranks among Switzerland's most important art museums. As the only major museum in the country dedicated exclusively to the art of cultures from Asia, Africa, America and Oceania, it holds a unique position in the Swiss museum landscape. The extensive collection includes both classical and historical works as well as contemporary positions from these cultural regions. The Rietberg Museum presents several special exhibitions annually, as well as two to three smaller special exhibitions. Each focuses on a specific cultural, historical or artistic theme and combines artworks from its own collection with carefully selected loans from renowned museums and private collectors both domestically and abroad. Museum operations span several architecturally outstanding buildings, including the historic Villa Wesendonck and the modern extension « Smaragd », which together provide a diverse spatial infrastructure for exhibitions, educational offerings and events, placing high demands on climate control and building systems. For the smooth operation of this diverse infrastructure, reliable and professional maintenance of the technical systems is of paramount importance. Against this background, the Rietberg Museum is issuing a call for tenders for maintenance, upkeep and operational support services for the technical systems of the Rietberg Museum. The objective of this call for tenders is to engage a qualified provider who ensures expert, continuous and trouble-free operation and provides sustainable support for the museum infrastructure. The contract encompasses all services as defined in the performance specification for the maintenance of technical systems. Emphasis is placed on sustainability, cost-effectiveness, safety and long-term operational reliability. The contractor (AN) ensures that all maintenance, upkeep, testing and inspection services are carried out professionally in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines (e.g. SIA standards), manufacturer specifications and legal requirements. Work must be planned and executed in such a way that safe, energy-efficient and trouble-free operation of all technical systems at the Rietberg Museum is guaranteed at all times.
