Framework Agreement for Maintenance/Repair Measures and Small Projects ZHAW Winterthur

The Building Department of the Canton of Zurich, represented by the Office of Building Construction, is conducting a call for tender on behalf of the Real Estate Office and the Education Department for a framework agreement for general planning services for the project phases: preliminary study, detailed design, tender and implementation. The expected services concern small to medium-sized construction projects for the maintenance and renovation of buildings in the State's real estate portfolio at the Winterthur location. These properties are used under a tenant model by the Zurich University of Teacher Education (ZHAW). For these works, a framework agreement will be concluded with a general planner providing planning services in the fields of architecture, construction management, structural engineering, building systems (HVAC, sanitary, electrical, ventilation/MSRL), building physics, building acoustics, fire protection and door/security planning, with proven experience in implementing maintenance and renovation measures for university buildings or similarly complex uses. A team is sought (general planner with sub-planners) with high architectural, technical and organizational competence and demonstrated experience in dealing with existing, heritage-protected building fabric. The contractors are able to respond flexibly to different requests and have appropriate personnel resources. They are capable of planning and implementing a wide range of construction measures in a cost-conscious and appropriate manner and understand how to adequately implement the Canton's objectives and requirements.
