N05.80 MP-220010 - EM Bözingenfeld - Lengnau - Project Manager BSA - Phase MK / AP - IBN / Completion (ID 11911)

Location-based services (such as meetings) take place on-site at the ASTRA Infrastructure branch in Thun, Ittigen central office, Bern workshop or Wankdorf visitor centre as well as within the project perimeter. Services that are not location-based are provided at the contractor's location.

The project perimeter is located in the national road section N05.80, Bözingenfeld – Lengnau and covers the section from the Bözingenfeld junction to the object BS 20 Bridge Leugene, from km 73.965 to km 81.195. This corresponds to a length of km 7.23. The section of the N16 between VZW Bözingenfeld and Bridge D01 Pont sur T5 is part of the maintenance section N05.80. This section of road was mostly constructed between 1998 and 2000 and was put into operation in 2001. The UNF BS 03 Bözingenfeld N16 was completed in 2020. This is the national road N05, class 1, owned by ASTRA. The project perimeter contains 8 overpasses, 4 underpasses, 4 culverts, 1 basin, 6 retaining walls, 1 tunnel, 5 noise protection embankments, 5 noise barriers, 2 oil retention basins, 2 pump shafts and 20 signal gantries. The rehabilitation comprises the following work: surface course replacement over the entire section, reconstruction of 4 RRB, various concrete repairs to civil engineering structures and in the Pieterlen tunnel, local reinforcements of signal supports, various hydrophobization treatments to civil engineering structures, replacement of surface protection system in the Pieterlen tunnel, markings, signage and lighting over the entire section. The rehabilitation in the BSA area currently comprises the following work: connection of RRB to BSA, power supply, lighting, signage of the open section, signage, surveillance systems, communication and control systems in the tunnel and various ancillary installations on the open section and in the tunnel. The Biel Ost / VZW Bözingenfeld connection, which is considered an accident hotspot and is located in the Bözingenfeld development focus area, must be reviewed from a traffic engineering perspective. At the present time, it is assumed that structural measures will be required. The present procurement contains the mandate for Project Manager BSA for phases MK / AP with PGV (procedure support, handling of objections) through to implementation / IBN (optional) using the BIM planning method.
