National highway N08 in maintenance section 52, between Spiez and Interlaken West, is to be structurally maintained with a maintenance project (EP) according to the National Highway Maintenance Plan (UplaNS). The section includes the Leimern and Leissigen tunnels as well as open track sections with various structures (retaining walls, bridges, culverts, etc.) and BSA installations. To date, the maintenance concept (EK) and the measures concept (MK) have been developed and the design project (AP) has been publicly filed. Approval is expected in summer/autumn 2026. This contract includes the project author for Construction/BSA, on-site project management, and the traffic planner for the following project phases: - Measures project / Detailed project (SIA 32) - Calls for tender, evaluations, award requests (SIA 41) - Execution (SIA 51 and 52) - Commissioning, completion (SIA 53) The detailed project description can be found in Annex 03 Specifications.
