Information Session_BIM Specifications of SBB

The event will take place ONLINE. Participants will receive access to the meeting in the registration confirmation sent by e-mail.

Since the beginning of 2025, SBB has been working according to the BIM method. The guidelines applicable to SBB BIM projects are available at www.sbb.ch/bim. The objective of the « Information Session on SBB BIM Guidelines » is to answer, in dialogue, detailed and practical questions concerning the publicly available SBB BIM guidelines. This allows potential external partners to prepare for participation in an SBB BIM project or to familiarize themselves with the topic « BIM with SBB ». The following topics are excluded from the information session: • No general questions, independent of SBB, concerning the BIM method will be addressed. • No project-specific questions regarding SBB BIM projects will be addressed. Project-specific questions will be handled by the established SBB support organization for BIM projects. • No tender-specific questions will be addressed. Tender-specific questions must be asked within the framework of the corresponding tender. • No questions concerning the evaluation of minimum requirements, qualification criteria and award criteria, as well as contract contents will be addressed. The answers from the information session will not be published subsequently and will be addressed exclusively during the event. The event will be recorded for internal processing. The recording will not be published and will be deleted after processing. No other recording is permitted. For tenders, the relevant tender documents continue to apply. The event will take place online at various dates. The next event is scheduled for: 3 June 2026, 15.30 to 17.00 hours Other events in 2026 (with separate announcement to follow): 28 October 2026, 15.30 to 17.00 hours This specialist event will be conducted in German, French and Italian. Answers will be formulated in the national language in which they are asked. The event is intended for participants involved in planning and execution using the BIM method.
