Renovation of Werftsteg Lucerne I Engineering Services SIA Phases 32 to 53
The Werftsteg is a reinforced concrete pedestrian bridge built in 1979/80. The bridge has a length of approximately 285 m and crosses from Inseli over the shipyard facilities of SGV and the tracks of the lake transshipment, ending at the parking lot of the boat harbour at Alpenquai. Current condition surveys have shown that the Werftsteg is in poor condition, particularly in the area of the pile heads (including corrosion damage with significant cross-sectional losses). Urgent action is required. Comprehensive renovation measures are necessary to ensure long-term structural safety of the Werftsteg. In connection with the renovation project, the seismic safety of the structure should also be reviewed. A rehabilitation is envisaged that will achieve a residual service life of the structure of 30-50 years. Engineering services are required as lead engineer in the project phases 32 (Construction project); 33 (Approval procedure / Approval project); 41 (Invitation to tender, Tender comparison, Award application); 51 (Detailed design); 52 (Execution) and 53 (Commissioning, Handover) according to SIA standards 103 (2020) and 112 Specialist fields: - Overall planning (Project management) - Structures (Renovation)
