Renovation Werft Footbridge Lucerne I Engineering Services SIA Phases 32 to 53
City of Lucerne
The Werft footbridge is a reinforced concrete pedestrian bridge built in 1979/80. The bridge has a length of approximately 285 m and crosses from Inseli the shipyard area of SGV and the railway transhipment tracks and ends at the parking lot of the boat harbour at Alpenquai. Current condition assessments have shown that the Werft footbridge is in poor condition, particularly in the area of the support heads (including corrosion damage with significant cross-sectional losses). There is urgent need for action. Comprehensive renovation measures are necessary to ensure the long-term structural safety of the Werft footbridge. In connection with the renovation project, the earthquake safety of the structure should also be reviewed. A repair is aimed at achieving a residual service life of the load-bearing structure of 30–50 years. Engineering services are required as overall responsible engineer in project phases 32 (Building project) ; 33 (Approval procedure / Public inquiry project) ; 41 (Tender, Quotation comparison, Award request) ; 51 (Execution project) ; 52 (Execution) and 53 (Commissioning, Conclusion) according to SIA standards 103 (2020) and 112 Specialized fields : - Overall planning (Overall management) - Structural engineering (Renovation)
