New Construction of a Child Care Centre
Background The demand for child care places has increased significantly in recent years in the municipality of Kaisten, which is why the municipality intends to build a new child care centre. For this purpose, the architecture firm Lenzin Partner Architekten AG, together with specialist planners, has prepared a preliminary project. Through a global services tender, a global services provider is now being sought who will carry out the project design, project submission, tender planning, detailed planning as well as the realisation and commissioning of the project. The preliminary project provided, including the specialist planners' concepts, serves to locate the building and the space programme. This is to be considered in the procedure as a feasibility study. The municipality wishes optimisations in spatial layout, construction as well as in building services. It is clear that the provider/contractor is free to choose the planning team that accompanies it. It can adopt the existing planning team, but does not have to. The municipality of Kaisten has set a cost target for this project of approximately CHF 6.4 million (VAT included).
