For the successful implementation of the planned conceptual phase and the concluding RFI, the involvement of an external strategic partner is essential. He must have comprehensive expertise in GA system architecture, IT/OT security according to IEC 62443 as well as in the implementation of multivendor strategies and must have already successfully demonstrated his capabilities in comparable project constellations (scope and size) with renowned clients and in comparable business fields. The « external expert GA/OT » ensures a structured and transparent process, relieves airport-internal project managers, minimizes risks, promotes efficient communication and guarantees a future-proof, scalable system architecture. He is also able to communicate at the same technical level with the IT network architecture specialists of FZAG and ensures that all security and data protection requirements are met according to applicable standards and regulations. He coordinates and orchestrates (leads) the various workshops with the stakeholders involved, records the meetings and prepares the decision-making bases for the client. He brings process and methodological expertise, closely and professionally accompanies the processes, and communicates efficiently between technical, commercial and organizational stakeholder groups. Moreover, he reacts flexibly to changes in the course of the project, whether regarding new requirements from the client or unexpected technical challenges.
