11636.2 Consolidation of Bus Stops Accessibility, Package No. 2, Planning Services

The Federal Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities (Disability Equality Act) requires barrier-free public transport. The project improves mobility, inclusion, and sustainability. In this context, the commissioned planner provides services for phases 3 to 5 according to SIA standard 103/2020 for the design, tender, and implementation of approximately 75 bus stops in the canton of Lucerne. Detailed information on the relevant bus stops will be provided with the tender documents. The rapid implementation of services and thus the swift realization of bus stops is a central objective of the contract. Accordingly, the planner must demonstrate high performance capability and capacity and present innovative approaches for expedited processing. The construction work shall be divided into several packages. The tender for construction work on the first package is to be issued in early 2027 with the objective of commencing construction work in Q2 2027. By the end of 2029, approximately 75 bus stops are to be completed.
