Renovation of Wiedlisbach Primary School

1.1. Introduction The primary school building of the municipality of Wiedlisbach, dating from 1873, has reached the end of its service life for essential structural elements. In May 2023, the primary school had to be closed for school operations due to structural deficiencies – teaching has since taken place in a temporary building outside the facility. A renovation project has been developed in recent years for the object under heritage protection. Credit approval for the project is planned for June 2026, with the building application to follow immediately thereafter. 1.2. Objects The project includes the renovation of the primary school building (K-object) dating from 1873 under heritage protection, the renovation of existing areas in the multipurpose building « Froburg » accessible on foot, and landscaping work in the playground area. The primary school building is to be structurally strengthened and technically renovated. With the renovation of the spaces in « Froburg », these are to be converted for use as classrooms – today these rooms are used as workshop spaces. The measures in the primary school building must be implemented with consideration of cantonal heritage conservation. Legal standards and recognized regulations must be complied with. Scope of Services The objective is the procurement of architectural planning services for partial phases 4 – 5 according to SIA 102/2020, including overall project management for this primary school renovation project in Wiedlisbach.
