Requalification of open spaces in the Battelle Tambourine district (Carouge), planning and implementation

Battelle-Tambourine (Carouge) is a mixed-use district with approximately 2'000 residents and 1'500 students who daily attend the Battelle Campus (HEG, HES/SO, UNIGE). Public spaces left incomplete during the construction of residential buildings in the early 2000s led to strong social demand and ten years of negotiations for the revision of the localized district plan. The Client intends to appoint, at the conclusion of this call for tender, a multidisciplinary team to support it in completing the studies, issuing the works tender and implementing the public space improvements in the Battelle-Tambourine district. The procedure selected by the Client is a selective procedure. At the stage of the request for participation, teams must demonstrate the following competences: ● Landscape architecture ● Civil engineering The firms will form a consortium. The management of the mandate is ensured by the landscape architect for phases SIA 32 to 33. The civil engineer will assume the role of project manager for phases SIA 41 to 53. Teams authorized to submit an offer must expand their team to ensure the following additional competences: ● Participatory processes and temporary activation ● Mobility and circulation ● Environment and biology ● Lighting If the consortium firms do not have these competences, they must engage the services of one or more other firms, which will act as subcontractors to the consortium.
