Redesign of Pfäffikon ZH Bus Station
The existing bus station at Pfäffikon ZH railway station is reaching its capacity limits. The number of bus lines has increased and standard buses have been replaced by articulated buses due to capacity reasons. Furthermore, the current facility does not meet the current requirements of the Federal Disability Equality Act (LHand). For modern, safe and barrier-free bus operations, seven accessible stops for articulated buses are required in the final state. In an initial construction phase, six code-compliant boarding edges for articulated buses will be provided, meeting the requirements of the Disability Equality Act (LHand). The project is designed so that in the final state (SBB platform expansion), a seventh accessible boarding edge can be created to the east. The currently advertised mandate comprises planning services in the specialist areas of civil and road construction, utility line construction, structural engineering, traffic planning and landscape architecture for SIA phases 32 to 53, with phases 41 to 53 advertised as an option.
