General Planning Submission for the Renovation of Moosbrunnen Kindergarten in Lufingen

The condition report for Moosbrunnen Kindergarten (see submission documents 04_Condition Report) from 25.06.2025 identifies the renovation requirements for the kindergarten building. In the medium term, the entire building envelope of the kindergarten (cadastral no. 825 only) (windows, façade and gable roof) is to be completely renewed taking into account heritage protection requirements and brought up to current statutory thermal insulation values. The improved energy performance will reduce heating demand. The roof area can also be used for a photovoltaic system, provided the system does not compromise the protected overall appearance of the property. The building services (including heat generation) must also be comprehensively renewed or replaced. The entire system (possibly including neighbouring properties) should be considered as an overall concept. This will enable an efficient, user-friendly and long-term solution for heating, ventilation and sanitary installations to be developed. The heat network connection with the kindergarten pavilion (cadastral no. 824) should be examined. Furthermore, the interior fittings of the teaching areas are to be renovated or renewed. Due to the investment amount, the requirements of the Disability Equality Act (BehiG) and the Disability Equality Ordinance (BehiV) may need to be implemented. The installation of a lift, any structural strengthening measures and the remediation of existing hazardous materials would need to be combined with these measures. Through a general planning submission, a general planning team is to be selected that will prepare the preliminary design and building permit design for the renovation in a first phase.
