General Planning Mandate for the Building Extension of Haus zur Heimat, Olten

The association Haus zur Heimat operates the care and residential home for elderly people located at Pestalozzistrasse 36 in Olten. Through its services, it ensures the care and support of elderly people, thereby making an important contribution to the social infrastructure of the region. The existing building has developed historically and in parts no longer meets current requirements for functionality, operation and infrastructure. In order to meet future challenges, the association has decided to renovate and strategically extend the facility in several phases. A central element of future development is the planned construction of a kitchen as well as a cafeteria/restaurant area with a new main entrance including a reception area on the currently undeveloped land along Gartenstrasse. Under the direction of the overall project manager, the planning team is to develop the project. The task includes all planning services necessary for the implementation of the work in accordance with SIA 102, 103, 108 and 112 for SIA 31 to 53, including gastronomy planning.
