General Planner SIA 32-53 for compensation system at Mühleberg power plant

The 380-/220-kV substation Mühleberg is located in the municipality of Mühleberg in the canton of Bern. The mentioned substation was commissioned in 2012 and is in good condition with regard to buildings, switchgear, transformer and auxiliary systems. The objective of the project is the installation of a compensation reactor, also called "Variable Shunt Reactor (VSR)", including the required infrastructure. At the same time, the complete secondary technology, telecommunications and auxiliary systems for the 380-kV and 220-kV systems will be renewed. In 2025, a preliminary project (SIA 31) was therefore prepared for this project with various alternatives. The decision on alternatives was made in 2026. This invitation to tender aims to procure a general planner for SIA phases 32 - 53 for the planning and coordination of this project, whereby SIA phases 51 - 53 will be awarded as an option. In addition to the specialist-specific scope of services within his area of responsibility, the general planner also assumes overall supervision and coordination of all involved specialist disciplines including associated interfaces as overall project manager in accordance with SIA 103.
