Closed Loop Medication Management (CLMM), Architect with Overall Project Management
In the existing Rossetti building on the University Hospital Basel campus, Closed Loop Medication Management (CLMM) is to be implemented in compliance with GMP requirements. The project involves the realization of a fully automated system for medication picking, distribution, and patient-specific dispensing. The project will be implemented in two phases to maintain uninterrupted operation of the hospital pharmacy during the renovation phases. All work is carried out on the basis of GMP requirements, which are mandatory for both the project itself and the renovation phases. Phase 1: Implementation of automated picking including required infrastructure, integration with the STA system, construction of a new cold storage room, and adaptation and setup of storage zones. Phase 2: Expansion of the unit-dose preparation areas and goods receiving, including adaptation and implementation of the designated EX protection rooms and associated operational and technical requirements. The architect's services with overall project management include planning and coordination of the required structural modifications in the existing Rossetti building, integration of technical systems (including HVAC/E), and coordination with the GMP specialist to ensure GMP-compliant implementation and qualification (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ).
