Bern, Murtenstrasse 31, 3rd Floor, University of Bern, Institute of Occupational Medicine and Pathology, Department of Cytology and Translation Research Unit (TRU) Platform, Renovation and Operational Optimization

The Institute of Occupational Medicine and Pathology is located at Murtenstrasse 31. The building was constructed in 1991 and comprises, in addition to the ground floor, five upper floors and an attic floor. The complex is divided into two building sections: the lecture hall wing and the office and laboratory wing.   On the 3rd floor of Murtenstrasse 31, structural modifications are planned to modernize and optimize the laboratory and office infrastructure. At the same time, the existing original building systems infrastructure is to be renewed. Operations (excl. deep-freeze room) on the 3rd floor will be relocated for the entire construction period. The remaining floors will remain in operation during the construction period.   A general planning team is sought for the entire planning and implementation (Phase 31 Preliminary Project through Phase 53 Commissioning).
