Design competition in open procedure for master planning teams : A new site for Stationary Residential Integration (STA) is to be created at Birmensdorferstrasse 660, halfway up the Uetliberg. The STA is a supported housing offer by the City of Zurich for socially and health-impaired people with long-term substance dependency. It is aimed at individuals unable to adapt to conventional residential facilities. The spatial program includes as target 76 client rooms, dining and common areas as well as the associated operational and staff facilities. A replacement building is planned for the project, existing structures on the parcel will be demolished.
