Replacement New Build – Multi-Family Residential Building (former Rectory) Worbstrasse 69, Rubigen

The Reformed Church Community of Münsingen owns a plot of land with an existing single-family house at Worbstrasse 69 in Rubigen. A feasibility study demonstrates the development potential of the parcel and forms the basis for subsequent planning steps. The existing building no longer meets current requirements. A replacement new build for residential use is therefore being pursued as a purposeful development strategy. The objective is to realize a high-quality new residential construction with a mixed housing offer. Priority is given to creating affordable housing for different life stages as well as sustainable and economically viable development. In addition to architectural and urban design qualities, good integration into the existing local and district context as well as consideration of specific framework conditions, particularly regarding noise and access, must be ensured. To ensure high project quality, a selective design competition will be conducted. The objective is to identify a planning team with a convincing overall concept as the basis for further development.
