Revision of General Drainage Plan City of St.Gallen - Pre-Information Various Contracts
Pre-Information: Information Event General Drainage Plan Revision Disposal St.Gallen (ESG) informs about the progress of the revision of the General Drainage Plan (GDP) in St.Gallen as well as about upcoming calls for tenders for planning services. ESG is responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of the sewer network in the city and two wastewater treatment plants (WWTP). The wastewater of several neighbouring municipalities is also treated at both WWTPs. There is no wastewater association; cooperation with neighbouring municipalities is regulated by respective bilateral agreements. The currently valid GDP was developed until 2001. ESG initiated the revision of the GDP in August 2025. The revision will be carried out according to the requirements of the GDP Guideline 2025 of the VSA and is scheduled to be completed by 2031. The project is currently in the phase of situation analysis, which is expected to be completed by mid-2026. For the processing of the various sub-projects, it is planned to award various engineering contracts. Awards will be made either by negotiated procedure or by open procedure, depending on the scope of services and applicable thresholds. ESG will provide information at an online information event about the GDP revision and the planned contracts. Participation in the information event is recommended but is not a prerequisite for later participation in the tender procedures.
