N03/N04 Western Bypass Zurich, Renovation of OMS, MP-210059 Project Author OMS D-x-9-2 Project Space WUZ (Phases SIA 31-53)

The construction project « N03 / N04 Western Bypass Zurich » was opened in two phases in 2006 and 2009. The Federal Roads Office ASTRA plans to renovate the operational and safety systems (OMS). Furthermore, measures according to the Roadmap VM-CH project (PUN) are planned. Additionally, GHGW and RaDo will reduce congestion formation. In the course of these works, measures will also be implemented to realize the federal energy strategy. In the present construction project « N03 / N04 Western Bypass Zurich, Renovation of OMS », a project platform (Common Data Environment, CDE) designated « Project Space WUZ » is being implemented. This project space WUZ is used by all project participants and thus constitutes a central element in collaboration, project organization, workflow processes, and overall information exchange. The project duration extends over approximately 20 years and includes all construction phases from SIA Phase 31 (measures concept) through SIA Phase 53 (commissioning, project completion). In the present call for proposals « Project Space WUZ » (D-x-9-2), all services for project design / system utilization / system migration are included. The provider thus provides all services such as: setup, training, support, maintenance and operations, data protection / data backup, system management as well as deactivation including archiving of all data. The « Project Space WUZ » provider is responsible for high availability and supports a safe and orderly project progression through its services.
