Study Mandate - Engineers Heating, Ventilation, Sanitary, Electrical, Building Automation and Civil Engineering - Project: District Heating Production Unit at Collège Arnold Reymond in Pully
As part of the development of the district heating network in the municipality of Pully, two heat production units must be built to supply this network. One of these two units will be located at Collège Arnold Reymond (AR) in Pully and is the subject of this project. Collège AR is listed in the cantonal heritage register (note 2). This heat production unit with 3.55 MW capacity will supply the district heating network deployed by SiL in Pully before its connection to the Lausanne network. Collège AR will be the first heat consumer supplied by this heating plant. The heat production unit installed in Collège AR is designed to operate for approximately ten years. When the second production unit is commissioned, this installation will cease to provide primary production and will be maintained in operation only as a backup unit. The project comprises: - The construction of a new heat production unit with 3.55 MW capacity located in Collège AR, consisting of 3 gas boilers of 1.1 MW each and a heat pump (HP) of 250 kW with air condenser and heat recovery from flue gases. - The connection of Collège AR to the district heating network, currently supplied by end-of-life heating oil boilers. The works will be carried out in 2027 with a partial commissioning of heat production with gas boilers and supply of Collège AR via district heating by September 2027, and a full commissioning of heat production with the heat pump and air condenser by August 2028. This study mandate covers SIA phases 31 to 53, as well as overall project management and overall works management. Coordination and overall management with all project participants is expected as part of this mandate to successfully complete the project.
