BZU Lot K General Planner Railway Station Deitingen, Wangen an der Aare and Wangen bei Olten - incl. BIM

To comply with the Federal Disability Equality Act, all railway stations in Switzerland must be accessible to people with disabilities. As part of the Railway Access Implementation 2023 program, hereafter referred to as « BZU23 », all stations are reviewed for action requirements relating to safety, accessibility and capacity. For the stations to be adapted in Deitingen, Wangen bei Olten and Wangen an der Aare, concept studies have been prepared and rough costs estimated. Implementation is managed in a program within Infrastruktur to enable the large volume to be standardized across Switzerland. In the context of quality assurance, safety requirements, overall costs, life cycle considerations and backward compatibility, the project scope was expanded. Additional measures were thus examined. In this regard, it became apparent that various substance preservation measures can reasonably be implemented in the course of the disability equality project, for example certain road surface renewals, platform furnishings and electrical connections.
