AS35 Public Facilities Basel SBB and West Head 2nd Part incl. New Margarethen Bridge - General Planning Services Building, Phases 31-33

SBB is planning, on behalf of the Confederation, an additional crossing with platform access at Basel SBB railway station. This project called Public Facility (platform access Margarethen) is to serve all platforms using a statically independent pedestrian bridge parallel to the Margarethen Bridge. A replacement of the existing Margarethen Bridge (new Margarethen Bridge) must on the one hand be planned according to the future requirements of long-term railway development. On the other hand, the Canton of Basel-Stadt wishes to optimize the new bridge for tram, bicycle and pedestrian traffic. The planning in architecture, landscape architecture and civil engineering have already been procured via a study commission procedure.   The projects also include extensive conversion work throughout the track area between the main footbridge at Basel SBB and the Birsig River. Extensive adjustments to the track and platform facilities are required for this. For this purpose, overall project management and rail technology coordination are being sought.     The following services are being sought for SIA phases 31 to 33: Overall management general project manager civil engineering/earthworks incl. utility civil engineering and road/cable civil engineering construction/rail technology coordinator    Detailed description according to document B.01 Project and Services Description.
