The Kindergarten Dorf building was constructed in 1913 as a primary school building with a teacher's residence on the upper floor. In 1963, the classroom was converted into a kindergarten. The Volketswil school intends to use the building more efficiently in the future - for this purpose, spaces for the school psychological service are to be planned in the upper floors. With the extended use and the implementation of barrier-free access, a complete renovation of the building is planned. The building has been included in the inventory of supracommunal significance. For implementation, a general planning mandate will be awarded. As part of the pre-qualification, initially only the lead architectural office is being sought.
