Revision of Building Regulations Ordinance, Sub-Project 3, Development Areas

On-site inventory (part of area analysis)

Two interdisciplinary teams are sought, each with overall project management and a planning team, both covering at least the core competencies of urban planning, landscape planning, mobility/traffic planning, and social space planning. A total of 6 development areas (transformative planning areas according to the Urban Development Concept 2016) are to be processed. The 6 development areas will be divided between the two teams (division into two equally sized work packages is determined by mutual agreement at the start of work). The objective of the contract is to determine what function(s) individual sub-areas within the development areas have today, during transformation, and in the future; which existing identities, qualities, and deficits can be identified with regard to potential transformation within the development areas; and which spaces are particularly significant from the perspective of sustainable inward settlement development and their potential for additional space users.
