The Klingnau Foundation for Senior Citizens owns plot 1005 at Klosterweg (Langmatte site) and the Municipality of Klingnau owns various plots between Friedhofweg and Sommerweg (Gäntert site) as well as plot 1006 adjacent to plot 1005. The two sites, one of the few land reserves owned by the municipality, are to be developed together. Klingnau lacks residential space for senior citizens, spacious and barrier-free apartments for active "golden Agers" as well as for young families. On the two sites, an attractive and contemporary living space for all generations is to be created so that the objectives of both the Foundation for Senior Citizens and the Municipality can be achieved. With the announced design competition, the clients wish to evaluate the best project for the two planning areas and identify the most suitable master planner(s) for the further development of the construction task.
