The UPlaNS section Aawangen - Wil (km 340.600 - km 355.000 of the N01) was commissioned in 1970. Due to the advanced age of the pavement, particularly on the N01/50 section, a maintenance project is planned for this section. The main objectives of this maintenance project are the repair of the wearing course (replacement of the surface and binder layers), the complete renewal of operation and safety equipment, and all structures within the project perimeter. The contract comprises general client support for the aforementioned project (general support as well as support in developing project fundamentals, in procurement, in controlling and in project-based quality management during technical supervision of the project) as well as works management during execution.
