The UPlaNS section Aawangen - Wil (km 340.600 - km 355.000 of the N01) was commissioned in 1970. Due to the advanced age of the pavement, particularly on the N01/50 section, a maintenance project is planned for this section. The priorities of this maintenance project are the restoration of the asphalt pavement (replacement of wearing course and binder course), complete renewal of operational and safety equipment and all structures within the project perimeter. The contract includes general support to the client for the aforementioned project (general support as well as support in the development of project foundations, in procurement, in controlling and in project-based quality management during technical supervision of the project) as well as construction supervision during the execution phase.
