The UPlanS section Wettswil – ZH/ZG Border (km 41.300 - km 56.500) of the N04 was commissioned in 2009. Since commissioning, no major maintenance measures have been carried out. In accordance with the UPlanS philosophy, a maintenance project is planned for this section, to be implemented from approximately 2032 onwards. The age at the time of maintenance will therefore be 23 years – no accelerated or interim measures are planned. The selected measures must ensure maintenance-free operation for at least a further 25 years. The main drivers are the condition development of the pavement and various structures, as well as partially non-compliant road wastewater treatment. The contract includes general support of the client for the project in question. Support in the development of project fundamentals, in procurement, in controlling and project-based quality management, in technical support of the project and in BIM.
