MP-240045, N14/72 Maintenance / Upgrade Hirzelstrecke, Traffic / Road Safety Project Manager Maintenance Concept light (PM MC light)
Services can in principle be provided at the contractor's premises. Physical meetings generally take place at the ASTRA office in Winterthur. If necessary and at the contractor's discretion, meetings may take place at a location within or near the project perimeter, at BHU in Zurich, or at the contractor's premises.
The important and heavily used Hirzelstrecke (National road 3rd class, section N14/72) connects the Wädenswil junction with the town of Sihlbrugg over a length of approximately 9 km. Action is required throughout the entire section regarding maintenance and upgrading. In particular, protection against natural hazards must be improved, the route and civil structures must be maintained, and weaknesses in pedestrian and cycling traffic must be improved or the offer expanded. Certain urgent measures will be implemented in advance. All other measures are to be developed and coordinated in a first step. The subject of this procurement is the services of the Traffic / Road Safety Project Manager for the MC light planning phase. The measures are to be evaluated in variants taking into account the phasing. The priorities, in addition to participation in the variant study from the Traffic / Road Safety perspective, lie in the planning of a superordinate traffic management concept during construction, the reconfiguration of a traffic signal junction and the planning of safety elements. The resulting best variant must be documented (including costs and timelines).
