Client support (BHU) at ASTRA assists the client on a technical, organizational and administrative basis in the planning and implementation of national road projects. It assumes coordination and advisory tasks throughout all project phases and ensures that ASTRA's interests are represented towards planners, contractors, authorities and other project participants. Central tasks include in particular project coordination, schedule and cost monitoring, quality assurance, support in tendering and awarding processes as well as the review of project documents and technical reports. Furthermore, the BHU coordinates cooperation between the various specialized planners and supports the project management respectively senior management of ASTRA on technical, organizational and strategic matters. It also ensures compliance with applicable standards, guidelines and ASTRA requirements and thus makes a significant contribution to efficient and successful project execution.
