Physical Hydraulic Modelling of Drize Structures – Saint-Julien Road Sector (PAV)
The mandate is executed principally in the contractor's premises, within a hydraulic laboratory suitable for the realisation of physical models. Coordination meetings may take place in Geneva or remotely with the client and other project contractors.
This contract concerns the realisation of a physical hydraulic model in the laboratory as part of the project to daylight the Drize watercourse in the Saint-Julien Road sector (PAV, Geneva). The mandate includes the design, construction and operation of a physical model to simulate the hydraulic performance of the planned structures, in particular the flow regulation devices (cofferdam, spillway, water intake and transition structures to galleries). The model must enable the analysis of various hydrological scenarios, including flood situations and degraded conditions with debris (floating wood), in order to validate the sizing and operation of the structures. The services include model design, its realisation in the laboratory, implementation of a test campaign, analysis of results and formulation of recommendations for the project.
