BLT Baselland Transport AG is procuring compact air conditioning units based on propane refrigerant (R290) as a replacement for the currently installed compact air conditioning units based on R134a refrigerant. The compact air conditioning units are installed in the meter-gauge tram «Tango». A detailed description of the existing units and a requirements catalogue for the units to be procured can be found in the further tender documents. A total of 38 trams are to be equipped with the following units. 4 compact air conditioning units for passenger areas (= 152 units + 5 spare units) 1 compact air conditioning unit for the driver's cabin (= 38 units + 2 spare units) 1 compact air conditioning unit for the vehicle rear (= 38 units + 2 spare units) Further details can be found in the tender documents. 

Delivery of equipment for the first vehicle (tram) in spring/summer 2027, delivery of equipment for the last vehicle in autumn 2031 Detailed delivery information (cadence, delivery location, commissioning) is specified in the contract draft and in the milestone plan (contained in the tender documents).
