STUDIES FOR THE REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IN NOVILLE
The Intercommunal Management Service (SIGE) is responsible for wastewater treatment of the municipalities of Blonay-Saint-Légier, Chardonne, Corseaux, Corsier-sur-Vevey, Jongny, la Tour-de-Peilz, Montreux, Vevey and Veytaux, as well as several member municipalities, such as ACPRS (Chexbres, Puidoux, Rivaz and St-Saphorin), Châtel-St-Denis and EPUDEHL (Chessel, Noville, Rennaz, Roche and Villeneuve). The three current wastewater treatment plants (STEP) of Aviron (Vevey), Pierrier (Montreux) and Jaquetan (Villeneuve), although regularly maintained, are at capacity with no possibilities for expansion and present many limitations in meeting the latest standards. In order to meet current federal requirements and those announced in the near future, as well as demographic developments, SIGE has decided to build a Regional STEP located on the Prés-des-Fourches site in Noville. Wastewater currently received in the three STEP facilities of SIGE will be transferred via lacustrine and terrestrial pipelines to the future regional STEP. The project is divided into 5 different packages for studies, tender and supervision of works: · Package 1: Decontamination and geotechnics of the STEP site · Package 2: Regional STEP · Package 3: Adaptation of the Aviron and Pierrier STEP, lacustrine and terrestrial pipelines · Package 4: Environment - not published at this time · Package 5: Architecture - not published at this time
