ASTEC - Châteauneuf WWTP - General Planner

Châteauneuf WWTP – Rehabilitation 2035 This procurement concerns the services of a general planner for the modernization and upgrading of the Châteauneuf Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), operated by the City of Sion. This facility, which ensures the treatment of wastewater from the right bank of the Rhône as well as from several neighbouring municipalities, must integrate micropollutant treatment in compliance with the requirements of the Water Protection Ordinance (WPO). A feasibility study and preliminary project conducted between 2023 and 2025 by CSD Ingénieurs have established the framework for the WWTP rehabilitation project. On this basis, ASTEC is launching the present call for tenders for the continuation of the «Rehabilitation 2035» programme, aimed at defining the technical solutions, sizing and modernization options necessary for the sustainability and future development of the Châteauneuf WWTP.
