486 Pavement Renewal Langwies-Emmat, Engineering Submission

Forchbahn must periodically maintain its track network and adapt it to the current state of the art in order to meet the future Forchbahn SN 18 service offering. As part of project 486, a standards-compliant railway facility (metre gauge, project perimeter approx. 640m) is to be constructed, which can be operated for the next 50 years without major structural interventions. The basic services include planning the superstructure renewal and clarifying whether the substructure also needs to be renewed. Optionally, a pavement renewal and 3 culverts are to be planned.
