Planning Competitions – Canton Zug

Zug is economically one of Switzerland's strongest cantons, with correspondingly high quality expectations for architecture competitions. Zug city, Baar and Cham are the most active venues. Projects include high-quality school buildings, public buildings and increasingly housing densification.

Zug uses selective study mandates and project competitions under SIA 142/143. High fiscal capacity enables larger construction volumes and quality-oriented procedures.
