Planning Competitions – Canton Obwalden

Obwalden is a small central Swiss canton with a steady competition volume. Sarnen is the main venue; Kerns, Giswil and Engelberg complement the regional portfolio. School buildings, public buildings and infrastructure projects are in the foreground.

Obwalden is an attractive tax canton experiencing population growth, which drives school building procurement. Open project competitions under SIA 142 are the preferred procedure.
