Planning Competitions – Canton Jura

Jura is Switzerland's youngest canton (founded in 1979) and a growing French-speaking competition venue. Delémont and Porrentruy are the main venues. School buildings, public buildings and municipal development projects are in the foreground.

Competitions are in French, primarily attracting firms from French-speaking Switzerland and the Bernese Jura. As the youngest canton, Jura has a strong interest in its own building culture and uses quality-assuring procedures under SIA 142/143.

Proximity to the French region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté creates occasional cross-border links. The Jurassian industrial basin around Porrentruy offers potential for transformation and cultural conversion projects.
